The Rhythm of the Council
Four formats. One continuous year.
Ignite
· Quarterly · Full day · In person
The most concentrated room of the year. One day per quarter built around the deal lifecycle — keynotes, case studies, round tables, and unstructured time with the people who matter.
Impact Lab
· Monthly · Three hours · In person
The progress engine between Ignite events. A smaller room, a sharper focus — one question, one blocker, one idea worked through with peers.
Pulse
· Monthly · One hour · Online
Working prompts, live workflows, and tool configurations built in front of the room. The Council’s working library, built session by session.
Signal
· Monthly · Digital
The intelligence briefing. Patterns and provocations distilled from member and partner conversations — signal ahead of consensus, delivered to the full community.
The state of play.
Here is the uncomfortable truth about AI in M&A: everyone is talking about it, almost everyone is experimenting with it, and almost nobody is confident they are doing it right. The transition is moving faster than most organisations have a framework for. Not because M&A teams are behind.
Built differently.
With purpose.
The Council is built on a single conviction: the next decade of dealmaking will be defined by the M&A and corporate-development teams that master the intersection of artificial intelligence, technology, and transaction strategy.
Everyone is talking about AI in M&A. Almost everyone is experimenting with it. Almost nobody is confident they are doing it right.

What We're Building Next
We are building the infrastructure for in-house M&A teams operating in AI transition.
The Toolkit
Two proprietary tools, built for the work itself.
Local Chapters
In-person Council gatherings across NYC, Chicago, London, Frankfurt, Dubai and Hong Kong.
The Council Prompt Library
A peer-built, member-curated vault of prompts, frameworks and workflows already in use inside in-house M&A teams.

Quarterly conference (Ignite) — “Ignite the ideas that impact the deal.”
Cadence: Quarterly, full day, in person.
Proposition: Once a quarter, the Council convenes for one full day around a single deal stage and a single question — what does genuine AI elevation of this process actually look like, and what would it take to build it? Members leave with one high-impact priority, the business case to pursue it, and the clarity to know exactly what to do next. This is not a conference. It is a working session, and the work is done in the room.

Monthly breakfast (Impact Lab) — “Where intelligence meets impact.”
Cadence: Monthly, breakfast, in person.
Proposition: Before the day claims your attention, there is a window. Impact Lab is built inside it. Once a month, a deliberately small group of M&A and corp dev teams convenes around one discipline — not to understand what is possible, but to build the case for it. Members leave with the language and the confidence to take the argument back to their organisation.

Monthly online session (Pulse) — “Build it together. Use it tomorrow.”
Cadence: Monthly, one hour, online.
Proposition: Once a month, for one hour, teams bring what they are actually running — the prompts, the workflows, the tool configurations tested in live deal environments — and put them in front of the room. One member opens with a live demonstration. The room sharpens it. What emerges goes into a growing members-only library. You arrive with a question. You leave with something that works.

Monthly newsletter (Signal) — “The intelligence that drives impact.”
Cadence: Monthly, digital. Free to subscribers through 2026; member-gated from Q1 2027.
Proposition: Signal is the Council’s monthly intelligence edition. It is not a roundup of industry news. It is the distillation of hundreds of member and partner conversations — the patterns, the provocations, and the intelligence sitting just ahead of where the consensus is heading. M&A specific, always. The kind of read that does not merely inform — it prompts.
Pulse — Recurring Summary Block
M&A Prompt Meet — every month, online
Monthly online session (Pulse)
Every month, MAIC runs a live online session built around the M&A Prompt Library. Members and registered guests join to see new prompts and prompt workflows demonstrated on real corporate M&A and corp dev tasks — contributed by member practitioners and commissioned prompt engineers. Each session is 45 minutes, online, and free to members.

Diagnostic Toolkit
AI Maturity Index — Coming Q4 2026
A proprietary Council diagnostic that maps a corporate M&A function’s current AI position against the trajectory to full operational maturity. Output is a structured roadmap covering priority actions, quick wins, capability gaps, and the business case for sequenced investment.
Delivered as the Council’s own canvas, calibrated against a group-wide benchmark of peer functions.
Jobs-to-be-Done Canvas — Coming Q4 2026
A structured canvas mapping every core task and activity across the M&A deal lifecycle against the available execution options — desktop AI applications, enterprise platforms, or no-change-as-is.
Output is a defensible deployment view for each task, calibrated against a group-wide benchmark of how peer functions are sequencing their AI choices.
Prompt Library — Coming Q4 2026
A curated and vetted library of prompts and prompt workflows built specifically for M&A and corporate development tasks. Two contribution streams feed it: member practitioners submitting field-tested prompts from live deal work, and external prompt engineers commissioned by the Council. New entries are demonstrated monthly through Pulse sessions. The Library compounds in value as members contribute.
